France continues to suffer from extreme weather conditions.
After the abnormal heat, severe storms hit several regions of the country.
Paris suffered yesterday, and today Lyon and Saint-Etienne suffered from rain, hail and strong winds.
In Saint-Etienne, the temperature dropped by 10 degrees Celsius. Wind gusts up to 130 km/h were recorded.
The fallen hail covered the ground in places with a thick white layer.
The storm then moved towards Lyon.
At Bron station in Lyon, 33 mm of rain fell in just 12 minutes.
The streets were partially flooded.
Train traffic between Saint-Etienne and Lyon has been suspended.
There were no reports of casualties.
